We’re reaching out with an exciting and time-sensitive opportunity to make your support go twice as far for the Windsor Essex Therapeutic Riding Association.
We are deeply grateful to share that an anonymous donor has generously offered to match every donation to WETRA, dollar for dollar, up to $75,000, until April 1, 2026.
This matching gift will help us address several required major projects at the farm — with our most urgent need being a new metal roof on the barn to protect our devoted horses, their stored food supply, our amazing participants, dedicated volunteers, and the programs that mean so much to our community.

Equine Therapy Benefits Everyone
The physical, emotional, cognitive, and social benefits of therapeutic riding are all encompassing for riders, volunteers, and family members that are involved in the specialized and meaningful programs offered at the Windsor-Essex Therapeutic Riding Association (WETRA).
Through EAAT (Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies), participants can gain a sense of freedom and independence, learn new skills, interact socially, experience unique accomplishments and create emotional connections with horses and people that offer acceptance and unconditional affection and create bonds that can last a lifetime.
